The BodyGraph as a map
A BodyGraph is the central visual representation used in Human Design. It shows nine centers, 64 gates and the channels connecting those centers. Colored and white areas indicate which parts of the chart are defined or open. This is not a judgment, but a structured view of an individual configuration.
The calculation uses birth date, the most accurate available birth time and place of birth. Two sets of planetary positions appear in the chart: conscious Personality activations and unconscious Design activations. Together they form the personal Human Design BodyGraph.
What can it show?
The combination of these activations gives rise to, among other things, type, strategy, inner authority, profile, and definition. These levels help us view the complex chart in a meaningful sequence. Individual gates or lines should not be read in isolation, because their role or meaning is always tied to the context of the entire Bodygraph. As with everything in life, it must be viewed in its context.
What does “Original Bodygraph” mean?
Original Bodygraph uses the original body chart developed by New SunWare, preserving its geometric proportions, together with the original Rave I'Ching texts. The layout is intended to retain the visible relationships between gates, channels and centers.
A Bodygraph, or Human Design, offers a perspective on your individuality—not as a set of rules, but as an invitation to observe and understand yourself and make your own decisions.
